Flaming Heart

There are some symbols that seem to belong to every generation. The flaming heart has long appeared in old folk art, carried as a token of steadfast love, hope, and the courage to follow one's own path. Adorned with Mary's shimmering Flaming Heart appliqué, these gowns are made from natural linen and rich cotton velvet and organic cotton sateen, bringing together old symbols, careful craftsmanship, and clothes made to be treasured for a lifetime.

Before you order, every Mary Benson wedding piece is made especially for you. Rather than being taken from a shelf, your garment is carefully cut, sewn, and finished in our small Yorkshire workroom. Please allow approximately 6–8 weeks for making and dispatch, giving each piece the time and care it deserves. If you're working towards a particular wedding date, or would like small alterations such as sleeve changes or a different skirt length, please do get in touch. We'll always do our very best to help where we can. All styles are available in a range of colours, and we're always happy to help you find the shade that feels just right for your wedding.
