"I was feeling in a slump after the cold and dark winter months, having decided to not persue my dressmaking career as fully as I once did, and having not designed any dresses for a while, I needed some inspiration. My inspiration often comes from fabric and I when saw this incredible floral rose garden cotton and could instantly envisage the Morwenna dress. I designed this new style during Imbolc, when the snowdrops started peeping through the earth. I was feeling so deeply drawn to Spring and brighter days, dreaming of days out, holidays and coming out of the long wintering period.
